•Administrative Assistant

DirectNetworks, Inc. (DNI) is looking for a skilled, professional, motivated Administrative Assistant to work for our growing company. Successful candidates must have excellent organizational and customer service skills; ability to work independently and work well in a team setting; ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.

Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the accounting department on accounts payable, accounts receivable, client invoicing, credit card entries and other accounting duties. This position will also assist DNI management, service staff and administrative staff with administrative functions and answering incoming phone calls/directing those calls to the proper department(s). The administrative assistant will report directly to the Accountant/Controller.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with answering all incoming phone calls in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide administrative support to DNI management, Accountant/Controller and administrative staff as needed.
  • Assist Technical Services Supervisor (TSS) with managing the service boards within DNI's business operating system software.
  • Maintain and manage filing company records.
  • Responsible for opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail and recording incoming checks.
  • Ordering/organizing weekly staff meeting lunches and company outings.
  • Maintaining inventory and orders for office supplies, coffee, soda and other supplies.
  • Responsible for managing packing slips, vendor invoicing and tracking of the purchasing and Accounts Payable system.
  • Managing all Accounts Receivable and collections.
  • Responsible for monthly invoicing of DNI clients and assist with any other miscellaneous invoicing.
  • Assist in any basic accounting/human resource duties assigned by the Accountant/Controller.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED required. Associates Degree in administrative/accounting a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years administrative/accounting experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive team player attitude.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. QuickBooks experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday
