Administrative Team /Accounting Assistant

Job Description:

DirectNetworks Inc. is seeking a full time administrative team/ Accounting Assistant to join our team. The idea candidate will be someone who is highly detailed and who communicates well both written and verbally with the staff and customers. This hybrid position will be responsible for phone back-up for incoming customer calls, customer service as well as assisting the accounting department with account receivables, account payables, purchase orders, management of the accounting service board and monthly invoicing. This is a very fluid and exciting role which requires a person who is able to multitask and embraces a fast-paced environment.


  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients while updating them on ticket status and obtaining ticket status updates.
  • Serve as a telephone back-up when receiving customer service request phone calls.
  • Work with our scheduling team in deployment of engineering resources to customer sites.
  • Interact with other departments to assure that invoicing is done in thorough, accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist controller with creation and verification of monthly customer invoices.
  • Actively manage all phases of accounts receivable process, this includes making collection calls to customers whose invoice is overdue.
  • Take ownership of accounting service board work through any invoicing-related or service-based questions as they pertain to accounting and invoicing.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Extremely high level of detail
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to adapt to fluid changes during work day
  • Previous accounting experience is very helpful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least one year of QuickBooks Experience
  • Some ERP systems experience
  • Interest in computers and IT fields
  • Associate degree in accounting or other business-related field

Inside Support Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our team as an Inside Support Engineer. Responsibilities include remote client support, managed services support, cloud services support, new equipment prep, and project assistance. Successful candidates will be organized and have the ability to troubleshoot issues with experience and professionalism. Motivation to work in a fast paced environment and learn new technologies are also a plus. Position includes ongoing training and learning in a team environment.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Networks including Exchange
  • Experience in Help Desk environment supporting end users remotely
  • Demonstrated ability to triage, understand, troubleshoot, and fix client issues properly and in a timely manner
  • Willingness and desire to learn new IT products and work with client end users
  • Be a motivated self-starter that is eager to learn and be involved in the Cloud IT industry
  • Previous experience in Managed Services and/or Cloud IT industry
  • MCIPT and CCNA certifications are considered a plus and encouraged to apply

Computer Technician Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our team as a computer technician intern. Responsibilities include troubleshoot/repairing PCs, Laptops, Servers, loading and configuring Operating systems, assisting with contracted services and maintenance

The hours of operations are Monday-Friday between 8:00a-5:00p. Hours are flexible with respect to your school schedule.

Most of our full time staff started as interns and when the internship was completed, moved to full time engineering positions

Job Requirements:
Desired Certifications Include: A+, with an MCP desirable.

The ability to troubleshoot client technical issues with ease, confidence, and professionalism is a must. Individual must be motivated to learn, organized, professional and able to perform in a fast paced environment

Previous IT support experience is very helpful.
